Saving green by going green: geothermal heat pump

In the second part of the Terra Nova visit, we’ll see another way in which Terra Nova is reducing their carbon footprint and utility bill with the installation of a geothermal heat pump. They still have their old furnace for a back up, but didn’t even need it when temperatures were lower than usual this winter. They still use gas for the stove and the water heater, but the group found that their heating bill went down significantly.
