Mizzou Scores Second Highest among Big 12 Green Report
University of Missouri has scored a “B-” in the 2010 College Sustainability Report Card, which is a full grade higher than last year. The Report Card is published by the Sustainable Endowments Institute, a special project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. The Report Card assess close to 300 public and private colleges and universities across all 50 states and provides a complete independent view of how much colleges have made progress in making their campuses greener.
Mizzou might have not been able to beat out Oklahoma on the football field but has dominated them in the sustainability effort. Mizzou also scored higher than Kansas and tied with Texas and A&M.
